Policies

Age Limit:
All drivers must be 21 and over. There will be daily extra surcharges for all drivers under the age of 25. Rental will be available to under 21 drivers, provided they have proof of own auto insurance. Insurance policy must be verified before any reservation can be made.

Credit Card Requirement:
All major credit cards accepted, but not required. However, ATM/Check Card or cash deposit and additional arrangement must be done if renting without a major credit card. Reservations can only be guaranteed with major credit cards or ck cards.

Pick up & Drop off:
Free pick up and drop off are provided from the airport and hotels or within 5 miles radius of the airport. More than five miles pick up and drop off are subject to additional fees and may not be available at all time.

Minimum Rental:
Rentals are based on minimum rental days. There is one day minimum rental unless, otherwise specified on the rental agreement.

Parking & Traffic Violations:
Renter is responsible for his/her parking and/or traffic violations. Renter must pay the parking violation by the due dates or when returning the vehicle, whichever date is earlier. Otherwise, Atwest Rent A Car will charge the renter an additional 45.00 handling fee per violation. The renter has the option of paying the violation(s) amount to Atwest Rent A Car when returning the vehicle with no extra fees.

Tax & Surcharges:
Sales Tax of 8.25% is extra. Under age fees range from 5.00 to 25.00 per day, if the driver is under the age of 25. Other fees may apply.

Insurance & Coverage:
Liability Insurance: Coverage protecting the renter from losses to third party in case of an accident.

Collision Damage Waiver: Covers damages to the rental vehicle only. Damage includes, accidents and if the vehicle is lost or stolen. Also known as LDW.

Additional coverage may be offered at the counter when you pick up the vehicle.

Hours of Operation:
8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Seven days a week. Office hour can be extended to 11:00 PM with advance reservation only. After hour rental and return will be provided with advance arrangements. If you fly out of LAX early, please ask for early morning drop-off when you pick up the vehicle.
