Rental Policies

  • No charge for additional driver!
  • No Airport Fees!
  • Unlimited mileage!
  • All major credit cards are accepted!
  • Minimum rental age is 21 years of age*, with no extra younger driver charge!
  • Debit cards, checks or cash deposits accepted!* $100.00 authorization taken on debit cards (in addition to pre- payment). Cash deposits are $400.00 ($200.00 for active duty military), plus pre-payment for the rental in full. Cash deposits and refunds must be done before 6:00 p.m. daily.

    *Any drivers under the age of 25 and all drivers not using a major credit card do need to bring proof that they are covered under an automobile insurance policy in order to rent a vehicle.

Coverage Information

Basic Hawaii no-fault coverage is included with the rental. Collision coverage is $14.00/day or $300.00/month.

Credit Cards

We honor all major credit cards.... Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners and JCB. The credit card must be in the renter's name.

Airport Pickup Instructions:

Airport pick up and drop off available. Just ring Tradewinds U-Drive, Inc. from the car rental courtesy board (dial 80) in any baggage claim area when you are ready for pick up.
